The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) is taking swift action after a jaw-dropping video of a female soldier went viral, showing her dancing, stripping off parts of her uniform, and nearly exposing herself completely.
In the short clip, the unidentified soldier moves to the beat of a song, slips off her SANDF jacket to reveal a bra, then lowers her trousers to show her underwear. Just before she could pull them down further, the video cuts off — leaving viewers shocked and the internet buzzing.
The SANDF wasted no time releasing a stern statement, reminding all personnel to uphold discipline and protect the dignity of the uniform. They stressed that using military gear as a prop for social media attention is strictly forbidden.
“Members must always carry themselves with respect and honour, especially while in uniform. Any conduct that damages the image of the Defence Force will not be tolerated,” the statement warned.
The footage has divided opinion online. Some slammed the soldier for disrespecting the armed forces, while others argued the outrage was exaggerated.
Regardless of the debate, the SANDF’s stance is firm — soldiers who cross the line, in uniform or not, risk facing severe disciplinary consequences.
