There’s a ton of TVN content coming in the second half of 2025 on Netflix, and one of several exciting shows arriving is Typhoon Boss. The series will star Lee Jun Ho and Kim Min Ha. Here’s everything we know so far about Typhoon Boss on Netflix.
Typhoon Boss is an upcoming licensed South Korean Netflix Original drama series directed by Lee Na Jung.
When is Typhoon Boss coming to Netflix?
A new update from X user, ggonigon, who has been an extremely reliable source of information for K-dramas, Typhoon Boss will be broadcast on TVN starting from October 4, 2025, and will air simultaneously on Netflix.

The current broadcast schedule for the K-drama is from October 4 to November 23, 2025.
We still don’t have official confirmation from Netflix that the K-drama is coming to the streaming service. What also remains unclear is whether or not The Typhoon Boss will be distributed internationally or if it will be limited to territories such as Asia.
As always, release dates are subject to change.
The series will have a total of 16 episodes. Each episode will have a runtime of 60 minutes.
What is the plot of Typhoon Boss?
Kang Tae Pung is the CEO of the family business, Typhoon Company. His father loved the company as much as his own family, but since taking over for his late father, Kang Tae Poong has struggled to protect it, especially when the entire economy faced extreme hardship during the 1997 IMF crisis.
Who are the cast members of Typhoon Boss?
The two leads of Typhoon Boss are confirmed to be Lee Jun Ho and Kim Min Ha.
Kim Min Ha will lay O Mi Suk. Kim Min Ha. The actress has yet to star in a Netflix series, but has led several popular K-dramas such as Light Shop, Pachinko, Way Back Love, and Not Alright, But It’s Alright. The actress will also star in Netflix’s upcoming drama Perfect Job.

Lee Jun Ho will play Kang Tae Pung. The actor has previously starred in Celebrity and was the male lead of the popular K-drama King the Land. For his acting, he is most well-known for his roles in dramas such as The Red Sleeve, Confession, Just Between Lovers, and Good Manager. He will star in Netflix’s highly anticipated adaptation of the webtoon Cashero.
