September will see the arrival of You and Everything Else, and the continuation of some exciting weekly kdramas. The month may also see the arrival of a brand new SBS K-drama and the highly anticipated sequel to Kill Bok Soon. Here are all the K-dramas coming to Netflix in September 2025.

Kiss Me for No Reason

We’re still waiting for confirmation on the release date of Kiss Me for No Reason, but we do know it is part of the first wave of new SBS k-dramas coming to Netflix in the near future.
Kong Ji Hyuk, who runs the Mother TF team at a baby products company, mistakenly thinks he’s gotten involved with a married woman after a new temporary employee, Ko Da Rim, kisses him unexpectedly. However, unknown to Kong Ji Hyuk, his new employee lied about her background about having a husband and a child in order to get hired.

There’s still a chance that Mantis could be released in August, but it’s more than likely that the film will be released in September 2025! The film, a sequel to the excellent action thriller Kill Boksoon, promises to deliver even more thrilling entertainment.
Mantis, an ace assassin and a former colleague of Gil Boksoon, returns to a collapsed order-hired killer industry after his vacation. Upon reentering this anarchic world, Mantis encounters Jae-yi, his fellow trainee and rival, and Dok-go, a retired legendary killer, and realizes they are all vying for the top spot among the killers.

A real tearjerker could be in store for K-drama fans as Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun star as Ryu Eun Jung and Cheon Sang Yeon, who have been lifelong friends and rivals since elementary school. Despite her own talents and the opportunities her wealthy background has presented her, Eun Jung has always been a source of jealousy for Sang Yeon. Throughout the years, the pair have continued to drift in and out of contact, but at 42, Sang Yeon, now a successful movie producer, turns up unexpectedly to ask Eun Jung to accompany her to euthanasia after she is diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Another excellent K-drama from SBS, we were hoping that Queen Mantis would make its way over to Netflix. At 8 episodes, Queen Mantis is a relatively short series by K-drama standards, and with two episodes a week, the K-drama will be finished by the end of September.
After brutally murdering five men over 20 years ago, Jung I Sin was given the nickname Mantis. Her son, Cha Su Yeol, has grown up to despise his mother and has chosen a career as a police officer in order to stop serial killers like his mother. However, one day, a strange murder takes place, seemingly a copycat of Mantis. To find and capture this new killer, Cha Su Yeol must enlist the help of Jung I Sin.

Beyond the Bar (Season 1)

Beyond the Bar is off to a stable start with its second episode receiving a nationwide rating of 4.714% and 5.175% in Seoul. The series stars Squid Game star Lee Jin Wook, who starred as contestant No. 246 in seasons 2 and 3. The talented The King’s Affection actress Jung Chae Yeon stars opposite him. Hopefully, over the next few weeks, the series continues to grow in the ratings.
Admired by his colleagues, Yun Seok Un is the cool-headed, risk-taking partner lawyer and leader of the litigation team at Yullim Law Firm. While being skilled at Law, his cold attitude and being terrible at small talk make him unapproachable to most of his colleagues. He soon clashes with rookie lawyer Kang Hyo Min, who, despite being socially awkward, is righteous and confident, and as a result, puts her in a head-on collision with Yun Seok Un.
Bon Appétit, Your Majesty (Season 1)

The series has yet to debut as it won’t be released until the end of August 2025, but we expect this one to be super popular with K-drama fans and foodies.
Yeong Ji Yeong, a talented chef, wins a prestigious competition, declaring herself the best chef in France, and is offered the job of head chef at a Michelin 3-star bistro in Paris; however, on the day she wins the award, she is mysteriously transported to the Joseon Dynasty in Korea. Forced to trade in her bistro for the royal kitchens, Yeong Ji Yeong must now make delicious food for the tyrant King Lee Hoon.
