According to reports, a man came home from work and walked in on Beverly in bed with his wife. In seconds, rage took over — and Beverly was shot in the bedroom.
A woman at the scene called 911, but it was too late. Officers arrived to find Beverly unresponsive. He was pronounced dead where he lay.
The husband was taken into custody in the parking lot without incident.
